Dayspring Academy is a public charter school located in Pasco County, FL, and is run by a private Board of Directors. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a member of our governing Board, please complete the Board Member Application above.
*Please note that a Letter of Interest and Resume are required when completing the application.
Our Board of Directors and Administration will review your information. If a Board position becomes available, you will be given the opportunity to interview with our Board. If we do not have an opening at this time, we will keep your information on file in the event an opening becomes available.
Unless otherwise noted, Dayspring Board meetings are held on the last Monday of August, October, January, March, and the first Monday of June, primarily at our Angeline and Ovation schools. Upcoming meeting dates are listed below.

If a parent has a grievance or complaint or needs assistance, please follow the process below:
Seek to resolve the problem with the teacher, if applicable.
If the problem is not resolved, you can meet with the school principal. You may email them directly to address the issue or to set up an appointment.

If still unresolved, you may contact our Board Parent Liaison, Darren Curtis, at liaison@dayspringacademy.org.
If still unresolved, you may bring the issue directly to the board by completing a board resolution form and emailing it to the board at grievance@dayspringacademy.org. Incomplete forms or forms that need more information may be returned for more information prior to launching a grievance review.
A board member will be assigned to investigate the grievance review. Please note that if you have not completed steps 1-3, the assigned board member will not be able to proceed with the grievance review until steps 1-3 are complete.
Upon completion of the grievance review, the board member will make a recommendation to the entire Dayspring Board at a scheduled board meeting. All decisions made by the board are final and cannot be appealed. A final report will be emailed to the complainant within 45 days of the board's decision.
The Dayspring Board meets every other month on the last Monday of the month.
