Early College

Early College at Dayspring Academy has two stages: Early College Prep for grades 6–7 and Early College for grades 8–12.

Dayspring Academy learners earn high school and college credits simultaneously to earn their Associate of Arts degree by the time they graduate.

Dayspring Academy is an innovative tuition-free public charter school, and our Early College has a proven track record of academic and student success, parent satisfaction, and accolades from state and national education officials. It is a true testament to the power of choice. Our learners consistently earn among the top scores in Florida on standardized tests and have helped us place among the top A+ high schools in the state each year on the Florida School Accountability report. Early College at Dayspring Academy has also been the highest-scoring A+ high school in Pasco County.

About Early College Prep

Our learners are not passive consumers, they have the ability to experience all the Information Age has to offer. At Dayspring Academy, we continue to move forward with our integration of arts and technology to provide an enriched curriculum that promotes creativity and requires the application of higher-level critical thinking skills.

Our learners and educators collaborate daily as they engage in high-energy lessons and diverse experiences utilizing the newest technology. Our learners are reaching for the stars and are achieving exemplary outcomes. These results are not because of technology but because our expert educators have embraced this opportunity to incorporate it into their content-rich curriculum.

The learners and staff at Dayspring Academy share a strong bond built upon camaraderie, collaboration, and a love of learning. Our day begins with a live “assembly” streamed to each classroom and our Dayspring Live! platform.  During this time we are able to share ideas and information while providing a sense of purpose for the day. Parents, learners, and staff are encouraged to communicate frequently as we partner together on this amazing journey to success!
