If a parent has a grievance or complaint or needs assistance, please follow the process below:

Seek to resolve the problem with the teacher, if applicable.

If the problem is not resolved, you can meet with the school principal. You may email them directly to address the issue or to set up an appointment.

  • Harmony Academy: Wendy Finlay

  • Jazz Academy: Audrey Windlan

  • Angeline Academy: Diana Greenier

  • Symphony Academy: Cecilia DeLeon

  • Ovation Academy: Karla Marone

If still unresolved, you may contact studentservices@dayspringacademy.org.

If still unresolved, you may contact our Board Liaison, Darren Curtis, at liason@dayspringacademy.org.

If still unresolved, you may bring the issue directly to the board by completing a board resolution form and emailing it to the board at grievance@dayspringacademy.org. Incomplete forms or forms that need more information may be returned for more information prior to launching a grievance review.

A board member will be assigned to investigate the grievance review. Please note that if you have not completed steps 1-3, the assigned board member will not be able to proceed with the grievance review until steps 1-3 are complete.

Upon completion of the grievance review, the board member will make a recommendation to the entire Dayspring Board at a scheduled board meeting. All decisions made by the board are final and cannot be appealed. A final report will be emailed to the complainant within 45 days of the board's decision.

Dayspring Board meets every other month on the last Monday of the month.
